On August 25th & 26th, G(irls)20 Summit 2014 took place at the Sydney Opera House. Featuring Australian and global experts, the Summit addressed the same issues as the G20 Leaders: Jobs & Growth / Infrastructure & Sustainability. They also addressed the relationship between mental health and employment and productivity.
Sydney Women’s Fund gave a grant to support the G(irls)20 summit which brought together 24 future female leaders from across the world with the aim of providing advice from the perspective of young women to the G20 at their 2014 summit in Canberra.
HASSELL kindly made available their Sydney offices for a session on Philanthropy where Julie Reilly from Women Donor’s Network, Natalie Isaac and Tara Hunt from One Million Women joined me to tell the story of why Philanthropy is the future. www.girls20.org
