An early intervention, home-visiting program to support struggling mothers with young children.
Diffusing potential issues before they escalate, this work supports women escaping DV, mothers with postnatal depression/anxiety, twins/triplets, single parents, wives with partners in the army, the socially isolated and any other parent going through a difficult time.
The program will offer weekly home visits by trained volunteers with the option for in-home counselling, or access to groups and workshops.
Provided with safe environments, opportunities for play, and working with Orana’s volunteers and professional staff, children in Sutherland Shire develop positive relationships and can reach their potential. Early intervention is a key strategy in developing strong, independent people.
