Be a part of the fastest growing trend in philanthropy
The Impact 100 model is simple. 100 donations of $1,000 are combined to raise $100,000 annually and granted to an organisation that can have a real and measurable impact.
Impact100 Sydney are the first group to establish this model of philanthropy for Sydney – now are one of 60 communities around the world that see enormous benefits in collective giving.
Giving circles such as the Impact 100 concept can offer an opportunity to experience philanthropy – inclusive, engaging and enriching groups of community minded people, who want to give – in the hope that they will grow their giving over time.
It's an engaging model, where members have the opportunity to learn more about the challenges faced by families of Sydney, and meet and support local leaders and changemakers addressing the needs in our community.
Each year Impact100 donors choose where Sydney has the greatest need – such as youth, families suffering abuse, health, environment, arts, and so on. Donors also have the opportunity to vote for which project to support.
We believe that all Sydneysiders should have access to opportunity. We know that this isn’t the case and that one in six young Australians is living in poverty and that youth unemployment is on the rise. Coupled with a range of social problems such as inter-generational poverty, youth suicide, disability, drug and alcohol abuse and domestic violence – the needs of Sydney’s vulnerable people are both broad and complex.
Launching in 2016, Impact100 Sydney community of donors have come together to choose a life changing project to support with a $100,000 grant, focused on making a positive difference to the lives of Sydney’s people in need.
